Magnus and Karoline. This wedding was special, emotional and funny. As most of my customers, Karoline got in touch with me one year before the wedding, asking me if we could meet in order to find out if I potentially could be their wedding photographer. I remember sitting in Starbucks at Aker Brygge and seeing them come in. I thought “They look nice and cool” and I was right. We sat for an hour and a half getting to know each other. I will never forget that one sentence that Karoline said “I think that we were meant to be” and she was not talking about her and Magnus but she meant that I was meant to be their photographer. I remember thinking exactly the same since we had such a good connection. After this meeting, we thought that we wouldn't see each other before the wedding (that is to say one year later)…but the thing is, I was looking for someone to take responsibility for my accounting during this period and I knew that Karoline was working as an accountant. So this is how Karoline got stuck with me :) She does a really good job, so if you are reading this and in need of an accountant, let me know and I will give you her number ;)
Covid has not spared Karoline and Magnus. They’ve had to find a new place, Karoline had to buy a new dress (and ended up with 2 wedding dresses in the end) but everything ended up well. The church was beautiful, Magnus didn't run away when Karoline walked down the aisle, Karoline did not stumble and Magnus put the ring on the right finger. So far so good.
You’ve probably understood that I am making fun of them :) But more seriously, they have become good friends and I really enjoyed being part of their wedding day. Karoline has a really sensitive family and it was really touching to see the emotions in her father’s eyes and to hear the different speeches during the feast. So again, thank you dear Karoline and Magnus for allowing me to capture all these beautiful memories. You are amazing and I wish you all the best in the future! Lots of love xx
