Thinking back to the wedding of Sunniva and Mathias, I must admit that I have a certain respect and admiration for this couple. For most of the people, the wedding day is once in a lifetime and you want it to be as perfect as possible. There are factors that you can control, like the food, the decoration, the guest list etc. but there are always some things that are out of reach, like the weather for example. It started to rain while Sunniva was walking down the aisle at her father’s arm, I am not talking about a little rain, it was a huge non-stop rain shower! I was taking pictures of the ceremony and to be honest, I started worrying about my cameras but I thought that if I had to “sacrifice” my material for my customer´s sake, it would be gratifying. No, I’m kidding! I knew that my cameras could handle it but I felt so bad for everyone sitting there and getting completely wet.

But you know what? I realised that it was not a rain shower that would take away Sunniva and Mathias´smiles and happiness! This was the most beautiful day of their lives regardless of the weather conditions. So I thought, let’s capture the day exactly as it was, with the umbrellas, with the wet dresses and gowns! This wedding was also one of the funniest ever! The bridesmaids and bestmen brought craziness and really good vibes during the fotoshoot and I kept laughing, sometimes struggling to even take pictures! I had such a funny day, so thank you Sunniva and Mathias for allowing me to be part of it!
